Food, glorious food!
When starting this list I realised that I don’t use many gadgets at all...1. Hand Blender -- I have the Philips HR1372 Pro version with all the attachments - lush!
2. Kettle -- A good fast boiler with a thermal wall is best - I have the Bosch Skyline with four temp settings and keep warm too!
3. Krups Coffee Grinder -- not for coffee - for spices!
4. Bread Maker -- I never bake in mine but they are great for making dough for cooking in the oven
5. Meat thermometer -- Food safety and all that
6. Sugar thermometer -- fab for brittles & spun sugar
7. Good set of accurate, digital scales -- Salter in my case
8. Mandolin -- I replaced my old one with the Chef’n Sleek Slicer, it was compact & clever but not that good at chopping, and took a slice out of my hand (didn’t happen with the old one!)
9. Kenwood Chef -- If I had the room I would replace the bread maker with one of these
10. Thermomix Food Processor -- I don’t have one of these but...! It is a proper gadget!
